Our Mission, Vision & Values
LEAP is a registered charity and registered social landlord. In 1994 a group of local business men and women founded the organisation with the aim of providing accommodation with support for young people. A year later LEAP became a Registered Charity. The cycle of ‘No Home, No Job; No Job, No Home’ gave focus to the group who hoped that by giving them a base it would enable young people to access employment.
“To provide housing and support services to vulnerable young people at risk”
The same is true today, without the foundations of a stable and secure home, obtaining education, training and employment is still out of reach of many. today the emphasis is on support to empower young people by equipping them with independent living skills, confidence, self-esteem and the promotion of social inclusion creating ‘better lives’ for the future.
This year LEAP celebrated 25 years of supporting young people in Lincolnshire and the charity goes from strength to strength on this journey.:
