I would like to thank you all for your continued support in these difficult times, and update you on what we are doing at LEAP in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Firstly, we would like to reassure you that we are taking all of the necessary precautions to keep our clients, visitors, staff and volunteers safe. Our senior team is meeting daily to respond to latest Government updates. We are following the Government & Public Health England’s advice closely and working with all our partners to provide a “joined up” response to this extra-ordinary situation.
We are restricting visitors to Homer House, having cancelled all non-essential meetings. We would like to ask all visitors, including professional colleagues working with young people, to not visit without a prearranged appointment. We would like to encourage, where possible, to arrange meetings over the phone.
Where multi-agency meetings do need to take place these will happen in the MHS Suite on the 3rd floor at Homer House, observing the rules of Social Distancing.
We have also cancelled some of our fundraising events, and may have to cancel more in the coming days and weeks, which will have a significant impact on our fundraising income. If you are able to make a donation to help us cope with this anticipated significant decrease in income, we would be most grateful.
These are difficult times for everyone and I would like to thank you all for your continued support. We will keep you updated as things change.
