Sleep for LEAP 2017

On Friday 15th September 2017 nine volunteers spent a night under the stars to battle youth homelessness. They slept outside Lincoln College from dawn to dusk in sleeping bags and on cardboard boxes. Food and refreshments were generously provided by the Lincoln Hotel and Tesco Canwick Road. £000.00 was raised and the money will go directly to support our accommodation based services in Lincoln.

Suicide Awareness Month 2017

Help us spread the word –It only takes a minute to ask #RUOK? Every year. more than 800,00 people die by suicide and up to 25 times as many make a suicide attempt. Behind these statistics are the individual stories of those who have, for many different reasons, questioned the value of their own lives. Each one of these individuals is part of a community. Some may be well linked in to this community, and have a network of family, friends and work colleagues or school mates. Others may be less well connected, and some may be quite isolated. Starts at Home

On the eve of Stars at Home Day, Karen Lee MP visited our project. She met our young people and staff and listened to their concerns particularly in regard to housing. We would definitely love to invite her again!
