Visit from the High Sheriff

We had a visit from High Sheriff Jill Hughes in uniform on Wednesday 29th March before the end of her term. We are grateful to her taking time out of her busy schedule to meet with our young people and listen to their stories. She also played Frustration with residents, staff and our local PCSO Kay who popped in.

Water Sports Afternoon

As part of the Staff V Client Challenge last week some of our residents were taken to Activities Away. They spent the afternoon taking part in water sports and archery. This was made possible thanks to the funding received through a Neighborhood Grant. It was an enjoyable (and wet) experience for all; especially for the LEAP residents who don't get the chance to have these opportunists very often. " I thoroughly enjoyed every single minute of it. The highlight for the day was definitely seeing the young people enjoy themselves and having fun. It is not very often they can do things like this.” Jen Roberts (Support Worker)
