LEAP works tirelessly to support homeless people to recover from their personal issues and break down the barriers that they face. Homelessness is much more than just a housing issue, so we provide a range of accommodation and support services to help people reach their full potential.

An enhanced Disclosure and Barring (DBS) disclosure is required for all positions at LEAP.
As a Housing Officer, you will assist allocated clients to identify and work towards individual goals consistent with sustaining a tenancy in supported housing.
Some of your duties will include:
Ensuring that clients have access to specialist services as required, utilising both internal and external resources
Managing a caseload of clients, building good and trusting relationships, supporting each person to achieve their full potential
Monitor and manage the day to day running of a range of accommodation and property standards
Monitor and manage the sustainment of tenure for individuals to minimise evictions and reduce homelessness
Maintaining constructive working relationships with other service providers, neighbours, and community groups
Ensuring a safe and secure environment for everyone who lives or works in, or visits our projects
Applicants must be self-motivated, reliable, and dedicated to our aims and ethos. A full driving licence, business insurance and access to a vehicle is essential along with a willingness to provide some Out of Hours services and be willing to work some unsociable hours.
Salary scale £19,465 to £20,255 plus a benefits package that includes a generous annual leave allowance and company pension
