Accommodation in Lincoln
Here at LEAP we offer our clients with all the facilities they would need in their daily lives and our staff on call 24/7 to deal with any issues that arise.
Located in the heart of the City of Lincoln, Homer House is our head office and is also an accommodation for 16 to 17 year olds (and care leavers up to the age of 21). The accommodation is over 2 floors with shared facilities. All rooms have their own bathroom.
Homer House offers support and security, a welcoming and friendly environment with staff on site 24/7.
When you are ready to move on and do not need as much support anymore you can apply to live at Barlow House. This accommodation offers self-contained units in the Newark Road area of Lincoln; you would have your own kitchen, bathroom and living area. There are no communal areas but there is an office on-site.
Support Workers visit the Barlow House daily and will support you to develop your own move-on plan. Whether you intend to move to council accommodation, private rent or even student accommodation, we will support you move to the next level.
By the time you move to Barlow House you should only need a little bit of support, your rent will be up to date and you will not have any warnings for anti-social behaviour or neighbour complaints.
LEAP has 5 houses out in the community; they are normal terraced houses in local neighbourhoods. We have 2 houses in the Monks Road area of the city and 3 in the south (bottom of the High Street and Newark Road).
Our supported housing offers accommodation young people who do not need to have any staff supervision overnight. So living here means you have to be a bit more mature and be able to be responsible for your visitors and make sure them, or you, do not cause a nuisance to your neighbours.
You would be sharing your home with 2 or 3 other young people and will have your own bedroom, with a lock, but would have to share the living room, kitchen and bathroom – a bit like student living.
Our staff visit the houses every day and work into the evening so if you are in education or employment, support can be delivered around your other commitments.
We have an on-call service where a member of staff will come out at night to deal with emergencies, and neighbour complaints.
