If you are 16 to 25, homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, then LEAP supported housing may be a solution for you. LEAP manages 6 houses in Lincoln. Each property is fully furnished and equipped ready for clients to move straight into. The houses are all based on 3-4 young people sharing and, as you can see, our houses are very ordinary houses in very ordinary streets located in very ordinary communities with very ordinary neighbours.
Each resident has their own bedroom with a lock on the door. Like all ordinary houses, some of our bedrooms are big and others are quite small, but all rooms come with attractive, homely furniture ready for you to move in any personalised belonging you may have – CD player, TV, computer, etc.
The houses are visited daily by LEAP Support Workers. Out of hours, clients have access to LEAP's 24 hour on-call facility to deal with any emergencies.
In each house there is a communal bathroom, kitchen and living area. LEAP provides each with a washing machine and communal TV along with full cooking facilities to promote and encourage a sense of shared living.
This service can be offered to young people with support needs for up to two years. Referrals to this service are quite straight- forward but if you have difficulty please contact a member of the team who will be happy to help.
