Flaoting SupportLEAP offers services to meet the needs of the young people we help whether this is accommodation based support, emergency accommodation or independent living skills to sustain a home. Why not take a better look at the individual services we have to offer.

Charges

You may be wondering how we are paid to deliver these services and if there is a charge to our clients. Well to answer this question, we need to split our costs in to rent and support.

Rent Charge

If you are in one of our accommodation based services then there is a rent charge. LEAP endeavours to ensure that its rents are fair and affordable to all who wish to access the service yet they are realistic to make certain that we are able to maintain a good standard of accommodation. For young people who are claiming welfare benefits, most will be entitled to full housing benefits to cover the rent, however, there is an additional top-up charge that all clients are liable. The top-up charge is the fee which covers all the services to the accommodation such as gas, electric and water. Please speak to a member of staff to find out more details about our charges.

Support Charge

supporting peopleFor anyone who receives a support service with LEAP the support charge is covered by Supporting People. Supporting People is a Government initiative that began in April 2003. The team in Lincolnshire aim to help people to live more independently in their own accommodation, by funding organisations that can provide housing related support services. LEAP, therefore, is accredited, monitored and approved by the Lincolnshire team.
