LEAP is committed to protecting our environment and minimising the carbon footprint of our properties.

A grant through the Social EnterpriseInvestment Fund (SEIF) has enabled the siting of photovoltaiccells and solar thermalpanels on the roof of Homer House whichensures that LEAP has an environmentally friendly supply of electricity and hot water in the building. Thisis the largest array of photovoltaics in the City.
The lighting in Homer House is responsive and automatically switches on when a room is occupied and switches off when it is not. This saves excess use of electricity and so reduces our bills.
All our rooms and houses are supplied with recycling bins and clients are encouraged to use them. Like-wise our offices are supplied with recycling facilities and the paper we use is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council of the United Kingdom as coming from renewable sources.
All tea, coffee and sugar used by LEAP is designated as Fairtrade.
