LEAP holds a comprehensive set of policies and procedures to cover all aspects of Charity’s business. These can be broken down into the following four categories:
Employment Law: LEAP employs the NatWest Mentor Service to provide a complete set of policies and procedures to cover Employment Law. Their service helps LEAP to effectively manage the complexities of current legislation and to advise on compliance and change.
Health & Safety: As with the Employment Law, NatWest Mentor Service has also provided LEAP with a complete set of policies and procedures to ensure fulfilment of its legal requirement to provide a safe and healthy environment in which to work.
Management: Additional to the above, LEAP holds policies to cover the financial administration within the charity.
Housing Management: LEAP’s Housing Management policies are key to the Charity’s service delivery of housing and support services. Here LEAP value the depth and diversity of its policies and procedures to allow for the delivery of a first class service to clients. Attached are a selection of policies that LEAP considers might be of interest to agencies, neighbours and clients.
- CCTV Policy This policy describes LEAP’s procedures in respect of its CCTV systems to ensure compliance with Data Protection Act and other Acts and agreed guidelines of whilst providing a safe environment for all clients and staff.
- Equal Opportunities LEAP is committed to the principle of equality, both in its employment practice and in its provision of housing and support services.
- Confidentiality and Access to Records LEAP has a clear written procedure relating to confidentiality and access to all records and information on clients.
- Complaints LEAP believes that all clients, neighbours and agencies should be informed of the organisations complaints and appeals procedure and feel comfortable using it.
